The Gauteng Provincial Government has launched “Hoi Hoi Gauteng”, a training and skills development initiative to empower the unemployed Gauteng residents with learnerships, internships, and jobs.
It’s advertised, over 482,092 jobs and skills programmes will be launched in partnership with the Department of Labour through their ESSA recruitment initiatives.

How to Apply Online
You can apply for the Hoi Hoi Gauteng Provincial Goverment’s skills programme online by following these simple steps:
First, you’ll need to register a profile at the ESSA Labour Department platform at www.essa.labour.gov.za/EssaOnline/WebBeans.
Select the individual registration option, and accept the terms to use the platform to proceed to the next step.
To register you will need to tell them a few things in order for us to verify your profile, provide the online registration system with the following details: Surname, 13-digit Identity Number and an email address.
Once you have registered successfully your username and password will be emailed to you. You’ll use these details to access the jobs and skills portal to apply for available opportunities.
Apply at Public Schools
The Gauteng Government announced dates in April 2024, for unemployed residents looking to visit public schools for offline registration.
Here are some of the public schools that were listed for the 13 – 14 April 2024 in Tshwane West.
Personnel at the schools will assist you in filling out the Z83 government jobs application form.
You’ll just need to bring your identity document (ID) to register for the programmes that best suits your interest.
